Hello once again well basketball season is officially over
now. We lost on Saturday to Window Rock in the second round of the playoff
games at the NAU Sky Dome. We didn't do as well as we usually do but in the end
I was still proud of my team for making it that far. We made it to our goal we
set in the beginning of the season. I was really happy with our turn out of the
whole season. I am really going to miss playing with that group of girls. Their
like my sisters, I became really close with them. Especially the ones that I
have been playing with for a long time, I am truly going to miss our laughs and
silly moments we've shared. I am also going to miss Coach Perkins, he has
taught me a whole lot throughout these past four years that I have been playing
for him. He is a really great coach; I wouldn't have traded him for any other
coach.
After we lost our game I was sitting in the locker room
just thinking about the whole season and how it went for me. And I was really
proud of myself for how I preformed throughout the whole season and I know that
I wouldn't have done that good without the support of my father who is one of
my coaches and family. They have always been there for me through every sport I
have played. They were at every game cheering me on and supporting me. Even
though I didn't always like the talks they gave me I knew in the end they were
always right and I should always listen to what they have to say because
without these talks or advice I wouldn't be the kind of athlete I am today. I
love my family so much and I know they will always be there for me no matter
what. I can ask them for advice if I need it or if I just need someone to talk
to they will be there to listen.
I have to say my biggest fans are my parents. They have not
missed one game ever since I was a little kid. Even if we played a million
miles away from home they were there. They always took time off work just to be
at the game. I really appreciate everything they do for me and I know they love
me a bunch and I love them a whole lot. So my advice to you whatever you do
never take your family and friends for granted
Softball season is starting now and this is my last sport I
am going to be playing in High School this is a sad feeling but I'm really
excited for softball to start time to prepare myself on getting dark so I
better get my bottles of sunscreen ready. Well that's it for now until next
time KB signing out.
